We started our first workshop with understanding the lighting techniques and how to use them

The setup we started with was two lights facing the backdrop and one key light for the model

This is one of the picture we took iso-100 f/8 1/125

We were given a task to photograph the model in such a way that the light dosn't reflect from the glasses

and then we made changes to our light setup and we decided to bounce our key light from a white thermocol sheet to make the light softer and reduce the reflection from the glasses

After accomplishing that we were given the task to use different colored gels to create a dramatic photo

this are some of the examples:

We were really happy with the results, We did a lot of different experiments with diffferent colored gels.

I experienced during this workshop that through lights and shadows a lot could be said.

During this workshop we also learned how to look at a portrait and undarstand the light setup used to create that portrait.

we did this expriment and tried to replicate an image
